Description

Name: Nathifa Warren (Nah-teef-a War-in)
Grade: Teacher (Mythical Medicine)
Age: In life Nathifa lived from 1293 B.C. to 1255 B.C. (38 years old)
Monster Type/Species: Mummy

Glamour Item: Gold Brooch

Height: 5'11" ft
Weight: 160 lbs
Body type: Willowy

Pts: 16,189

Natural Weapons: None

Trained Weapons: Staff
-Staff: In Nathifa's time it was abnormal for a priestess, or even a concubine, to be able to wield a weapon. In secret Nathifa learned through trial and error how to use one for defensive and offensive purpose. After so many years of reanimation, Nathifa has become an expert with a staff. It is also one of the main ways she concentrates her magics.

Weakness: Fire, Canopic Jars, Decapitation, Chanting
-Fire: Fire is one of the easiest ways to destroy a mummy. As a mummy, Nathifa is already dried out. Adding fire to the mix would cause her to burn at an alarmingly fast rate, leaving her as nothing but ash.
-Canopic Jars: Whoever manages to steal the canopic jars of a mummy would have completely control over the creature. It goes without saying that destroying the organs within would destroy her completely.
-Decapitation: Complete severing of the head from the rest of the body makes it impossible for a mummy to control themselves or reattach their heads to allow them to continue on with life.
-Chanting: When the scroll used to reanimate and renew the life of a mummy is read backwards, it takes their power away and leaves them as they once were.

If a person can manage to destroy a mummy, it kills them in their renewed life as well as destroying their chances to continue a journey in the afterlife.

Major Skills: Rot, Hypnosis, Reanimation
-Rot: A skill all mummies possess. Rot is the power to cause another living being to begin deteriorating from the inside out. A mummy can cause the rot to overtake a person through two ways; their touch and their stare. Mummies are the only ones able to stop the rot after it starts, though anyone can heal it once it's stopped.
-Hypnosis: Hypnosis can only be achieved through staring at one another for an extended period of time. It can last for hours, even days if the controller is strong enough, and can be used for many purposes.
-Reanimation: Nathifa can only reanimate the dead and can only do it by channeling that power through her staff. The reanimated would act as zombies and would not have minds of their own.

Minor Skills: Aura Reading, Healing, Bandage Manipulation
-Aura Reading: It manifests as a color that surrounds the person, clouding them in whatever feeling or alignment they hold.
-Healing: Nathifa holds the ability to heal most wounds and illness. It is hardly done through magic. Instead it is achieved through her vast knowledge of medicines.
-Bandage Manipulation: The ability to turn her bandages into bondage (Useful for subduing an opponent or a naughty student).

Personality:
Nathifa is elegant and quite poised. She walks with her head held high, confidence in each step. Nathifa keeps an authoritative air wherever she goes. She is passionate about what she loves and has a strong moral code (sometimes leading her to only see things in black and white). Nathifa is normally very direct in conversation. If a person becomes close to her though, she does show a more open and vulnerable side (We aren't all strong and perfect after all). She tries to be understanding of everyone, even giving second chances for those that show minor offensive behavior. Nathifa does not fear using her more deadly or painful skills when a person acts on bad thoughts or holds a darker aura. Being created from the hand of Isis, Nathifa is light, often choosing not to give in to the more sinister side of her monster self. At one point Nathifa was a mother and caregiver, which left her with something of a maternal instinct with younger and weaker creatures. Nathifa is a mentoring sort, and will take the time to give more in depth explanations or advice to those that need it. She is strong of heart and wishes to teach others to be that way.

Background:
Nathifa was born into a family that served the gods. She became a priestess of Isis after a long time of training and was completely devoted to the goddess and the ways of the temple. She was devout and pure for the goddess, taking no part in the desires of the body or mind. For this, Isis rewarded her with the power to see the auras of man. In the beginning, Nathifa did not see it as such a deserving gift, but if Isis had given it to her, it was divine in purpose and she cherished it. Her life as a priestess and overseer of the temple soon was turned upside down. The Pharaoh Ramses II had seen her during one of his few trips outside of his court and fancied her regal attitude and her dark looks. It was a quiet affair, her entering the harem, and even her meetings with the Pharaoh. At first it was not something Nathifa enjoyed. She rejected the idea of becoming impure, but the more his aura became red and passionate, the more she allowed herself to open to him.

Nathifa's free time in the harem was spent praying and teaching the young children in the harem all that she knew. It was in this time that Nathifa became pregnant. She bore twins, they did not belong to the Pharaoh as you would expect, but to one of the lower class princes, one whom Nathifa had come to feel for. It was easy enough to pass them off as the Pharaoh's children. It had become harder to see her love though, secretive meetings becoming harder and harder to hide the longer their relationship happened. Her aura and the prince's aura were red with love and passion, but tinged with black, guilt. It happened that one day, a day like any other, that Nathifa was called into court.

Pharaoh had learned of her lack of faithfulness, but did not seem perturbed by it. Her ability did show her how much turmoil and sadness seemed to be raging around him though. His orders then were that Nathifa and the prince should never see each other again. Though Nathifa's heart was breaking, she still held her strong stance and remained poised and relaxed throughout. She did not beg or plead, knowing what would happen if she had. The secret meetings between the Pharaoh and Nathifa stopped, as well as her secret meetings with her prince. She remained in the harem though, too dirty to return to her duties as a priestess.

She threw herself into caring for her children... until they became ill. Her knowledge of medicines did not help her, and she was left to hold them as they slowly died. She never could figure out what exactly had caused them to become ill. Not long after her children died, Nathifa had become weak. She fell to depression and hollowness. Eating and drinking, conversing with others in the harem, teaching the children, none of it interested her anymore. In her pain and lack of self care, Nathifa slowly wasted away. She died at 38 and because of her betrayal to the crown would not have been given a proper burial. The Pharaoh, despite what she had done to him, decided that he would give her the burial she would have deserved as he still did feel for her.

Her burial happened, though few appeared to watch it. Her prince did attend though, from afar and watched. When all left back to the palace and the chambers were sealed, the prince broke in. He performed the worst sort of rituals he could to bring her back. Nathifa was painfully ripped from her journey into the afterlife, and her corpse reanimated. She held new powers and no longer was the same lovely creature she had been in life. The prince had done well to return her memories and feelings to her though, and in secret, often returned to her, explaining what he had done. At first, Nathifa had been confused and then scared. As it happened, the prince died not half a year after bringing her back.

She could feel when this happened, and pain filled all of her. She created a glamour to cloak her looks and returned to the land of the living. Nathifa carried her canopic jars with her, as well as a staff, and left Egypt. Years passed, so many years, and the world around her changed. With each passing year, Nathifa gained back her old personality, the one that called for respect. The longer she lived, the more she traveled. She healed those around her, and worked on the powers that she now had. Soon she ended up being invited to teach at an academy. It was honest happiness she felt when she was given the opportunity, and soon she arrived at the building, ready to begin this career.

Rp Example: I'll add this soon, promise.

Rp Schedule: I am normally on the computer from 12 pm to 12 am to reply to rps. Normally I come and go in that time though.
Rp Preferences: I prefer to rp through notes or the chat room. I don't tend to give out my Skype. I dislike comment rps, so please don't start those with me.

I'm so sorry. Her profile sucks so hard and is lacking in so much detail right now T_T I'll rewrite it. Promise. I'm just trying to get it mostly done right now. Kill me if you like :l
